With summer fruits ripening in South Africa, there’s really no better excuse to get the blender out and try this delicious morning munch.
Yes, ANOTHER smoothie. But damn we love them so, so much! We also LOVE blueberries and this blueberry and coconut smoothie is a definite winner. There’s so much summery-creaminess crammed into this smoothie you’d swear you were drinking a milkshake. Every sip packs that nutrient-rich punch that blueberries deliver so well. And the granola? This fibre-rich ingredient adds that crunchy dimension to this delicious super-sipper.
So how many of you have tried semolina instead of oats for your morning porridge? If not, you really should! Anett has nailed it with this incredibly gorgeous breakfast, because blueberries AND chocolate! YES, Chocolate for breakfast! Who doesn’t love a good muffin with tea? The problem is, they’re mostly loaded with sugar and not all that good for you. You definitely shouldn’t have more than one anyway. But not these muffins! Have 2 or 3… FOR BREAKFAST!
With minimal sugar (only ¼ cup in the whole mixture) and packed with delicious nutritional ingredients, these muffins are a great, healthy alternative to afternoon tea and cake. In fact, you’re really doing your body a disservice if you don’t go in for a second.
We didn’t know what Pandan was either, but with a little help from a friend (google) we figured out that it is a leaf from South East Asia who’s flavour can be compared to that of Vanilla – we’re sold.
Let’s just firstly say that we especially like this one because it has the word pudding in it. There’s something about that word ‘pudding’ that tastes so delicious in your mouth.
This Tapioca pudding is brilliant because it’s ingredients are super healthy, nutritious and delicious. NO REFINED SUGARS! It’s the perfect… well, pudding, for a healthy after dinner treat (or any time really).
There’s a reason Matcha has taken off. Apart from the fact that it tastes so good and is a delicious alternative to coffee, (hello hipsters), it has major health benefits beyond your regular green tea. It boosts your metabolism, gives you energy, has cancer fighting properties and even helps with that nasty morning after.
This mint infused matcha latte is super refreshing as a morning starter, afternoon pick-me-up or, because it’s caffeine-free, a great alternative to before bed tea. It also has a delicious twist of pure genius, totally discovered by fluke – ROASTED BLUEBERRIES!!
That’s why we love Anett.
